Growth & Renewability
Moso grows up to 91cm per day and reaches harvest maturity in 3–5 years, versus 25–70 years for hardwoods. It's technically a grass, so harvesting doesn't kill the plant — it regrows from the same root system.

Strength
Its tensile strength rivals steel, and its hardness exceeds most hardwoods including oak and maple. That's why it's used in flooring, construction, and yes, toothbrush handles that don't splinter or crack.

Antimicrobial Properties
Moso contains "bamboo kun," a natural antimicrobial bio-agent that resists bacteria and fungi. This makes it well-suited for oral care products.

Sustainability
It sequesters CO₂ at roughly 5× the rate of equivalent tree stands and releases 35% more oxygen. It also grows without pesticides or fertilizers in most conditions, and prevents soil erosion with its dense root network.
